Wound Care

Wound Care at Bluffton Regional Medical Center

Let us help you heal. Chronic, non-healing wounds, those that haven't shown signs of improvement in several weeks or are not responding to typical treatments, need extra help to heal. Difficult wounds of this type are often caused by injury, disease, and poor blood supply. Bluffton Regional Medical Center's wound care professionals use a variety of new and traditional technologies to help patients heal successfully, in comfort, close to home.

The team at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center works in conjunction with each patient's family doctor or specialist. A physician referral, however, is not necessary.

The Wound Care Clinic is located on the second floor at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center South Campus, 1100 S. Main Street in Bluffton.

Some of the wounds treated at the clinic include:

  • Circulatory wounds
  • Crush injuries
  • Diabetic ulcers
  • Gangrene
  • Infections of the extremities
  • Non-healing surgical wounds
  • Pressure sores
  • Trauma wounds
