Emergency Services
Bluffton Regional’s Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is staffed by Board certified physicians. The physicians are members of Emergency Medicine of Indiana, the same group which provides physician coverage at Lutheran and Dupont Hospitals in Fort Wayne. All members of the nursing staff are ACLS, PALS and TNCC certified.
In 2004, Bluffton Regional Medical Center became the first hospital in Indiana to implement the new T-System EV, a computer-based charting system. This technology results in a shorter Emergency Department visit for patients.
